The BNA bank account allows you to carry out various banking operations such as withdrawals, deposits, and transfers between accounts.
Eligibility
Any natural person, of legal age, of Algerian nationality, or non-profit legal entity.
– How do I close the account?
The account can be closed at any time upon request by the client.
– Validity of a check?
The validity period is 3 years and 20 days from the date of issue indicated on the check.
– Where can I withdraw my money?
You can withdraw your money at all BNA agencyes (agencies) throughout the national territory as well as at ATMs (ATMs throughout the banking sector / Algeria Post / digital spaces).
– Can I authorize someone to carry out transactions on this account?
Yes, you can authorize someone to carry out operations on your check account except for closing and retrieving payment methods.
– How to authorize someone ?
- Three types of powers of attorney are available to you to authorize someone to manage your check account:
- Free bank power of attorney requires the presence of both parties, principal and agent. The agent simply needs to present the same file as the principal (special case), a BNA form co-signed by both parties and stamped (40 AD tax stamp);
- Notary power of attorney;
- Consular power of attorney.
– What to do if my check is lost or stolen?
Go to your agency (agency) as soon as possible to file a dispute, bringing with you:
Declaration of loss or theft issued by the security service;
Request to stop payment on a check.
– What to do if my CIB card is lost or stolen?
You need to report the loss or theft of your CIB card :
Via the Ebanking platform (with a 48-hour delay to finalize the objection procedure at your agency of domicile);
Or, you can go directly to your local agency if you are not a member of the Ebanking service.
