How do I use the Islamic savings card for young people?

At ATMs

The BNA CIB prepaid card is an interbank withdrawal and payment card funded by transfer from the individual customer’s main Islamic account. It can be in the name of the account holder or the cardholder.

What transactions can be performed with the prepaid card?

  • It allows you to perform the same transactions as a CIB Islamic card:
  • Withdrawals at all ATMs,
  • Online payments,
  • Proximity payments at Electronic Payment Terminals (EPTs),
  • Checking your account balance at BNA ATMs,
  • Deposits at BNA ATMs,

  • A range of other features are available via ATMs.

SMS OTP

What is it?

SMS OTP (One-Time Password) is a feature that involves sending a random, one-time password via SMS to the mobile phone of the CIB holder. SMS OTP allows for the secure validation of payments (bills, purchases, etc.). Thanks to this service, you can make your online purchases and payments securely.

How is authentication performed?

Step 1: Inserting the Card Verification Value (CVV2):
The CVV2 represents the three digits printed on the back of the CIB card and used for authentication during online payments.
Step 2: Sending an SMS containing a code:
The code sent is for one-time use only. The OTP SMS is sent within seconds.
Step 3: Entering the code:
Upon receiving the code, the user enters it on the platform.
Step 4: Validating the code:
After adding the code, validation is performed via the customer interface.

What are the requirements?

  • You must be a holder of an Islamic CIB card;
  • Your telephone number, provided to your branch, must be valid.

SMS BANKING

What is it?

  • MS Banking is a service that provides account balance and transaction notifications via SMS.
  • This service is available to customers who subscribe to ‘E-Banking’.

What notifications are sent?

  • Periodic account balance notifications;
  • SMS alerts on balance thresholds;
  • SMS alerts on transaction amounts

What are the conditions?

  • You must be a member of the “E-Banking” service;
  • Your phone number, provided to your branch, must be valid.

What are the advantages?

  • Real-time notification of all transactions on your account;
  • The ability to maintain a minimum balance in your account;
  • Benefit from preferential pricing with the BNA Islamic package or the BNA Islamic GOLD package

SMS CARD

What is it?

SMS CARD is a notification service using short, informative SMS messages sent to the customer’s phone. This service is offered to our CIB (International Bank Account Number) customers.

What notifications are sent?

Card status changes:
Delivery date of personalized cards; Card activation date; Cards placed on hold (deactivation date); Cards blocked (reason: stolen or lost, Sectioning date); Card cancelled (cancellation date); Card renewed and sent to the bank (sending date); Card replaced and sent to the bank (sending date); The card’s expiry date. An SMS is automatically sent to the cardholder after each change in card status.
Transactional activity:
ATM/GAB cash withdrawal transaction with transaction details (date, time, amount); Payment transaction with transaction details (date, time, amount); Advertising and awareness messages;
Announcing new products and services offered by the bank; Reminding customers of safety instructions regarding card use; Conducting surveys (INTERACTIVE SMS). The SMS is sent in near real-time to the CIB holder.

  • Have a valid CIB card;
  • Your phone number, provided to your agency, must be valid.
