In line with the Bank’s strategy to expand its Islamic network, the National Bank of Algeria (BNA) inaugurated today, November 9, 2025, a new branch dedicated exclusively to Islamic Finance activity. This is the Blida “1280” agency, headquartered at “Boulevard Mustapha Ben Boulaid, No. 97, Subdivision No. 69, Section No. 164, Wilaya of Blida.”
Equipped with all the necessary facilities and installations for its operation, the new Blida “1280” agency enriches and strengthens the Bank’s network dedicated to marketing Islamic Finance products and services. With the inauguration of this new location, the network dedicated to Islamic Finance activity now counts 16 agencies and 108 counters, totaling 124 commercial structures.
The inauguration of the new Blida “1280” agency reflects, once again, BNA’s commitment to further developing Islamic Finance activity, which is included as a major axis in its 2024-2028 strategic plan. Furthermore, it reaffirms the Bank’s commitment to actively contributing to the collective effort regarding banking penetration and financial inclusion.
