As part of the Bank’s strategy aimed at extending its Islamic network, a new agency dedicated exclusively to Islamic Finance activity was inaugurated today, Wednesday, April 24, 2024. This is the Hassiba Ben Bouali agency, located at 122, Rue Hassiba Ben Bouali, Sidi M’Hamed (Algiers).
The inauguration ceremony, which took place at the headquarters of this new agency, was presided over by the Acting General Manager of the BNA, Mr. Benabdi DINE, in the presence of several Central Directors and Senior Executives of the Bank, local authorities, and BNA clientele.
This new facility, equipped with all necessary amenities, offers optimal working conditions for our staff. It will also guarantee a quality welcome for BNA clients, thus strengthening our network dedicated to the marketing of Islamic Finance products and services, which now counts twelve (12) dedicated agencies and one hundred and seven (107) counters.
This action confirms the BNA’s will to maintain its leading position in Islamic Finance, with a dense operating network covering fifty (50) Wilayas of the country and a rich and varied range of Islamic products and services, dedicated to individuals as well as professionals and businesses.
The BNA’s involvement in the development of Islamic Finance is of strategic importance, as it contributes primarily to promoting banking penetration and financial inclusion, in accordance with the guidelines of the country’s highest authorities.
