After participating in the send-off ceremony for the first group of Hadjis to the Holy Places of Islam on May 10th at Algiers International Airport, the National Bank of Algeria (BNA) made a point of also being present this Friday, May 16, 2025, alongside our pilgrims from the Wilayas of Adrar and Timimoun, departing for Mecca.
Indeed, a delegation from the Bank, composed of representatives from the General Management, the Bechar Regional Directorate, and the Adrar agency, took part in the departure ceremony for the first Hadjis, organized within the Cheikh Sidi Mohamed Belkebir airport precinct.
This ceremony was marked by the presence of the Secretary-General of the Wilaya of Adrar, Mr. Rachid CHERID, and local authorities of said Wilaya. BNA’s participation in this ceremony falls within the framework of its societal commitment. It is worth recalling that BNA was also the first Bank to launch the “ESSABIL” product in 2022 for the benefit of pilgrims, based on the “KARDH HASSAN” (interest-free loan) principle.
This year again, the Bank rose to the occasion by renewing its financing offer for Hadjis and mobilizing its staff and Islamic Finance network to handle financing requests. The ceremony organized at Adrar airport was also an opportunity for the Bank to offer symbolic gifts to our Hadjis.
