The National Bank of Algeria (BNA) proceeded, Thursday, September 16, 2021, with the inauguration of its first agency dedicated exclusively to Islamic Finance, the Hussein Dey “635” agency located at 08, Rue Amar Mekkid, Hussein Dey 16040, in the Wilaya of Algiers.
As a reminder, the National Bank of Algeria was the first Public Bank to launch Islamic Finance, with its launch offer proposing nine (09) savings and financing products compliant with the precepts of Islamic Sharia available at sixty-four (64) of the Bank’s windows present throughout the national territory.
Through the transformation of certain agencies of the Bank’s network into agencies dedicated exclusively to Islamic Finance activity, the Bank wishes to offer you Islamic products and quality services executed by staff dedicated and trained for this purpose.
On the sidelines of this inauguration, the Bank is launching for you, on this same day, a new Islamic product, “Ijara Akariya Mountahiya Bittamlik” (Lease-to-own Real Estate), which allows you to acquire a real estate property for residential use in exchange for the payment of periodic rent over a predetermined rental period.
