In the framework of its strategy aimed at extending its Islamic network, the National Bank of Algeria inaugurated today, December 13, 2023, a new agency dedicated exclusively to Islamic Finance activity, namely the El Mouradia “1205” agency, headquartered at 22, Avenue Souidani Boudjemaa, El Mouradia (Algiers).
Equipped with all the equipment and facilities necessary for its operation, the new BNA-El Mouradia agency comes to enrich and strengthen the Bank’s network dedicated to the marketing of Islamic Finance products and services. In addition to the inauguration of this new agency, the kick-off was also given for the opening of 36 new Islamic windows at several of the Bank’s agencies distributed across several Wilayas, in order to respond favorably to the demand of our clientele in these regions.
The network dedicated to the Bank’s Islamic Finance activity now counts eleven (11) agencies and one hundred and four (104) windows, totaling one hundred and fifteen (115) representations.
This action reflects, once again, the Bank’s commitment to further developing Islamic Finance activity, inscribed as a major axis of its development, in line with the guidelines of the Public Authorities regarding resource collection and financial inclusion.
