A partnership agreement was signed on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, between the National Bank of Algeria and SARL SACOMI.
This agreement was signed between Mrs. Amina ATHAMNIA, Head of the Islamic Finance Division, and Mr. AISSAOUI Mourad, Manager of SARL SACOMI, in the presence of Mr. MILIANI THIBA Mohamed, majority shareholder of said SARL, and certain executive managers and Central Directors of the Bank, during a ceremony organized at the Bank’s General Directorate headquarters.
This agreement, which falls within the framework of implementing the digitalization of the “Mourabaha Equipements” financing offer, sets the conditions and terms allowing Algerian consumers to benefit from this National Bank of Algeria product compliant with the precepts of Islamic Sharia. This concerns products manufactured or assembled in Algeria, eligible for “Mourabaha Equipements” financing and offered for sale in SARL SACOMI showrooms.
This service allows consumers to benefit from an online financing simulation, a digitalization of the product availability confirmation process, the sending of financing files and delivery notes in digitized versions to the bank, as well as the delivery of products subject to the “Mourabaha Equipements”.
This partnership concluded by the National Bank of Algeria and SACOMI allows the Bank to accelerate the process of digitalization and diversification of its banking products and services offer in order to best meet the expectations of all citizens. It also aims to optimize the Bank’s commercial approach aimed at the permanent enrichment of its client portfolio.
