The National Bank of Algeria proceeded this Wednesday, February 21, 2024, with the inauguration of three new windows (counters) dedicated exclusively to Islamic Finance products and services at the level of the agencies Hassi Messaoud “947”, El Kala “812”, and Bouzareah “627”.
These three agencies, now equipped with Islamic Finance windows, will now be able to market banking products and services compliant with the precepts of Islamic Sharia. With the inauguration of these three new windows, the network dedicated to the Bank’s Islamic Finance activity now counts eleven (11) agencies and one hundred and seven (107) windows, totaling one hundred and eighteen (118) representations.
The reinforcement of the network dedicated to Islamic Finance is an opportunity for the Bank to consolidate its commercial strategy which aims to best meet the expectations and needs of citizens on the one hand, and to implement the guidelines of the Public Authorities aimed at economic development and financial inclusion on the other.
This action also reflects the Bank’s commitment to further developing Islamic Finance activity, which is included as a major axis of its development.
