As part of the Bank’s strategy aimed at extending its Islamic network, a new agency dedicated exclusively to Islamic Finance activity was inaugurated today, Thursday, June 06, 2024. This is the Tamanrasset “1214” agency, attached to the Ouargla Regional Operating Directorate (DRE) “184”, located at:
Commercial Center, Tamanrasset – Wilaya of Tamanrasset.
This new facility, equipped with all necessary amenities, offers optimal working conditions for the agency’s staff while ensuring a quality welcome for the Bank’s clients. It reinforces the BNA Islamic Finance network, which now counts thirteen (13) dedicated agencies and one hundred and seven (107) counters, totaling 120 representations.
With these 120 representations distributed across some fifty Wilayas, the BNA confirms its willingness to expand the reach of its Islamic Finance activity to the mass market, while proposing to its clientele—all categories combined—a rich and varied range of Islamic products and services.
This action also falls within a broader and more strategic objective, namely the acceleration of banking penetration and financial inclusion, in accordance with the guidelines of the country’s highest authorities.
On this occasion, the National Bank of Algeria welcomes this new achievement and continues its efforts to preserve its position as a leader in the field of Islamic finance by extending its network to the remaining Wilayas.
